For many families, parenting a child with special needs can often be isolating. Family outings, activities and parties are often unsuccessful experiences. Parents often find themselves at a lose when it comes to what other families take for granted. Over the years, Dimensions has offered parties and outings for our families. In our safe environment, children are able to act as they would without suffering the ostracism they receive in other situations. Dimensions is also the sponsor for the National Autism Registry (NARY) which has offered special cards free of charge to over 4,000 families worldwide. NOW,Dimensions and NARY havejoined together in order to form The Family Club. Every month, our students and their families are invited to participate in special outings such as THE DIMENSIONS BOWLING GROUP. Children of all ages and levels bowl in a stress free environment with their families FREE OF CHARGE. The Family Group periodically hosts other family activities such as movies and parties. In addition to the family outings, we are offering THE MOTHER'S CLUB as well as PARENT'S TIME OFF. These extra curricular activities have helped our families cope with the stresses that come with parenting a child with special needs.
